It's so ingrained in my mind that it hurts to hear him trying to hit the same notes on the older stuff. I'd like to hear them on the 2026 tour playing some of the newer stuff when he dropped the range a bit

There were couple of times I cringed, but they can still play. Same
as you, I wish I could have heard them live back in the 80s and 90s.

maybe they are touring because of bad business deals.
i see in 2014 a company bought the publishing company that has the rush catalog.

From videos I've seen online, it looks like they're killing it. It looks like Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are still enjoying it, and Anika Nilles is nailing it as their drummer. And while there has been a lot of attention on Anika Nilles, I feel like there hasn't been enough attention on the other person who has joined them to help out with keyboards, Loren Gold. I think he deserves some appreciation too.

YouTube suggests a few to me whenever I log on, so I am pretty sure
    you can find them. ;)

They're there. I watched about the first 45 min. on one. I was rather disappointed. Granted, I liked the stage production and the playing was there (though the drummer's playing was a bit weak), but I could've done without the cheesy intro video, and Geddy's voice isn't what it used to be, which is understandable given his age. It's possible too that the audio was at fault as it was coming from someone's cell phone, though the images was excellent.

Is there a version with a pro-audio setup?

Yes, and those situations ALWAYS end up making them look bad. This case
    is no different.

Honestly, I grew up in the 70's/80's when they were in their prime.
Never did like them, even then. It's the voice, I guess. He sounds

changing. The rest of it is fine, but... can't get past that voice.
I've always been amazed at the cult-like following of Rush fans, and I

    but not this band.

How does Rush look bad? I don't see the harm in them going on another tour if they want to. They're drawing a lot of fans; I'd go see them but the ticket prices are a bit high (which does seem a little odd).

I like the songs and their skill with their instruments. Alex is a great guitarist, Geddy is a great bassist & keyboardist, and Neil Peart was one of the best drummers in music. Their music had a particular sound (and it changed a bit as they changed their style a bit through the years). And I think the lyrics in many of their songs are good too.

I think they're good people too. In interviews & such, I have the sense that they're just good people, and they don't take themselves too seriously.

Yeah.. I think some people don't really understand Pink Floyd - I recall seeing some people say they don't like the image that their "The Wall" album projects - but I'm pretty sure that album is satire (and it's one of my favorite albums).

Also, at my first job, they had a little radio in the kitchen, and I often had it set to a local classic rock station when I was working in the kitchen. One time, they were playing Pink Floyd's "On The Run", and a coworker said "What is this? This is terrible."

I've always heard that the cover was supposed to represent Roger Waters' growing feeling of isolation from the rest of the band, and even from
fans. He tried to "take charge" of all aspects of that album, and
mostly did. Definitely a great album. Waters eventually left the band
due to clashes with the others, most notably David Gilmour.

Also, at my first job, they had a little radio in the kitchen, and I

Haha, that one is indeed a little different. Interesting for sure, and
I wouldn't list it in their "greatest hits" collection, probably. ;-)

Just in case anyone was wondering, the greatest guitar solo ever played
was done by David Gilmour, on the song "Comfortably Numb". Not on the
studio version of The Wall album, but one of the many live versions, specifically the one he did in Pompeii, Italy, in 2016. Link below, and
keep in mind that he was *70* years old when he did this:

    https://youtu.be/LTseTg48568?list=PLIkhFPtAYkip65efjE7hLxkaXJncLiWc6

The real solo starts at about 4:30 of the video and lasts 4 minutes.
